Pieter Marijt

Pieter Marijt has extensive experience in infrastructure and transportation management, currently serving as the Manager of Strategic Assets at GVB since November 2012. Responsibilities include overseeing GVB Activa BV, managing contracts with Vervoerregio Amsterdam, and implementing integrated asset management strategies. Pieter has also held roles such as Program Manager for strategy, Coordinator for the North/South Line implementation, and Transport Developer, focusing on the analysis and development of public transport networks. Prior experience includes working as a Graduate at Rijkswaterstaat and a Junior Staff Member at Stadsregio Amsterdam. Pieter holds a Master’s degree in Transport, Infrastructure, and Logistics as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Delft University of Technology.
