Najmeh Mehrabi is a Research and Development Scientist at GVS Filter Technology since August 2021, focusing on the development and surface modification of new membranes, project management, and process scale-up. Prior experience includes a role as a Graduate Research Fellow at Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna, where quality control of surgical masks and performance assessment of ICU workers during the Covid-19 pandemic were conducted. Najmeh also completed an internship at Sartorius Stedim Biotech, working on the conjugation of IgG to gold nanoparticles and evaluating protein diffusivity. Previous experience as a Project Engineer at Parsian Farab Lian involved designing water treatment systems and researching anti-scaling chemicals. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Sustainable Technologies and Biotechnologies for Energy and Materials from Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna, a Master of Science in Chemical Engineering from Persian Gulf University, and a Bachelor's degree in Safety and Protection Engineering from Petroleum University of Technology.
