Sacha du Plessis

Sacha du Plessis has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. They started their career as a Sports Coach at Wellington College in 1996 and later worked as a Scuba Diving Instructor at Sub Marina in 1997. In 1998, they worked as a Food Server at Dros and in 1999, they were a Head Waiter at The Green Door.

In the early 2000s, Sacha joined Distell and held various roles such as Brand Manager, Business Development Manager - Europe, and Senior Brand Manager. They gained valuable experience in marketing management, product development, innovation, and P&L management for various spirits, wine, and spirit cooler brands.

Sacha then joined Spur Corporation in 2007 and held several positions, including Marketing Manager, Group Marketing Executive, Chief Marketing Officer, and Executive Director and Chief Marketing Officer. They had a proven track record of exceeding performance objectives through strategic planning and were responsible for multiple brands within the company.

In 2021, Sacha founded WJD Consulting and worked as an Independent Entrepreneur. They also had a brief stint at WJDC as the Founder.

Most recently, Sacha du Plessis joined GVW Group in 2022, first as a Marketing Director and then as a GVW Group Marketing Officer.

Sacha du Plessis completed a Management Development Program at GIBS Business School in 2006. Prior to that, they earned a BA Honours Degree in Business Management from Stellenbosch University in 2001. Sacha also holds a Bachelor's degree in Sports Science from Stellenbosch University, which was obtained in 2000. They received a Matric Exemption from Bishops Diocesan College in 1995. Sacha's education journey started at Somerset House Junior School from 1984 to 1990.
