Chan Heo has a diverse work experience in engineering roles. Chan started as a Summer Intern at Telefonix, Inc. in 2013, where they participated in coordinating changes for a new facility layout. Chan then worked as a Mechanical Engineering Intern at Brass Light Gallery, where they evaluated lantern fixtures, managed the supply chain, created prototypes, and researched process improvements. Chan also interned at Alfa Laval as a Mechanical Design Engineer and Manufacturing Engineer, where they created 3D models, measured dimensions, evaluated dimensions, recorded time cycles, and created routings for refrigeration products. Later, Chan worked as a Mechanical Separation Engineer at Provisur Technologies Inc, designing and managing various mechanical assemblies and proposing efficiency improvements. Currently, they are working at G&W Electric Co., first as a Mechanical Engineer II and now as an Application Engineer II. In these roles, they designed complex frameworks, managed assembly errors, created training guidelines, and spearheaded the documentation process.
Chan Heo attended Syracuse University from 2011 to 2012, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering. They then transferred to the Milwaukee School of Engineering and completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Mechanical Engineering from 2012 to 2016.
