Olaf Cunitz

Olaf Cunitz has extensive experience in urban development and planning, currently serving as Leiter Quartiersentwicklung at GWH Wohnungsgesellschaft mbH Hessen since April 2020, responsible for the strategic and operational development of large housing estates comprising approximately 19,000 apartments. Previously, Olaf Cunitz worked as a self-employed Quartiersentwickler and as a consultant in urban development. Roles at DSK Deutsche Stadt- und Grundstücksentwicklungsgesellschaft mbH included Leiter Bauland- und Projektentwicklung, focusing on land development and new urban quarters. A notable position was held as Bürgermeister and Planungsdezernent at Stadt Frankfurt am Main, overseeing multiple urban planning departments. Olaf Cunitz also held several supervisory board positions at various companies from 2012 to 2016 and served as Geschäftsführer for Die Grünen im Römer from 2006 to 2012. Olaf Cunitz holds a Magister Artium in Middle and Modern History from Goethe University Frankfurt.
