Denise Vivian Auger is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in program management, community partnerships, and fundraising within the library and literary sectors. Currently serving as Program Director and Project Manager for the Decatur Book Festival since March 2022, Denise previously held the position of Adult Services and Programs Manager at Gwinnett County Public Library since 2007, orchestrating numerous workshops and community initiatives. Denise's background includes significant roles at The AJC Decatur Book Festival, where responsibilities included coordination of retail operations, and at Barnes & Noble Corporation Inc., focusing on community relations and programming. Denise holds a degree in Communications and Marketing from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and further education in Business Administration from Mohawk College.
