Katherine McLeod Gurd

Katherine McLeod Gurd, PE, currently serves as the Project Administrator for the Capital Improvement Program Delivery at Gwinnett County Government, a position held since March 2021, overseeing the timely development and delivery of water resources projects. Prior to this role, Katherine held significant positions at AECOM, including Division Director of Stormwater Services and Project Manager, contributing to the field of civil engineering for over a decade. Katherine has also demonstrated leadership as President of the ASCE Georgia Section and has extensive experience in water resources management with previous roles at Manhard Consulting, Jordan, Jones, & Goulding, and ERM. Katherine earned a Bachelor of Civil Engineering degree from the Georgia Institute of Technology from 1995 to 1998.
