Kenya Hunter

Kenya Hunter is an experienced journalist and entrepreneur with a strong focus on public health and maternal care. Currently serving as an Information & Outreach Associate at Gwinnett County Government and as the Founder and Postpartum Doula at Kenya's Maternal Bridge, LLC, Kenya aims to provide holistic support to parents during the postpartum period. Prior roles include Public Health Reporter for The Associated Press, funded by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, and Atlanta Health Reporter at Capital B. Kenya has also worked as an Education Reporter at Richmond Times-Dispatch and a General Assignment Reporter at Rome News-Tribune. An adept news reporter starting at WERS 88.9 FM, Kenya has experience in creating news packages and conducting research for journalism at Emerson College, where a Master of Arts in Journalism was earned.
