Alex Stanley

Alex Stanley is an accomplished sports management professional with extensive experience in commercial strategy and business development within the sports and entertainment industry. Currently serving as Executive General Manager - Commercial at GWS GIANTS since January 2024, Alex previously held the position of General Manager - Commercial Strategy at the National Rugby League from March 2016 to January 2024, where focus was on enhancing commercial growth and maximizing value for partners. Alex’s career includes significant roles at CSM Sport & Entertainment and Bastion EBA NSW, where successful strategies were implemented to drive revenue growth and optimize sponsorship programs. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in Australian Studies and Economics from The University of Melbourne, along with foundational studies completed at The Geelong College.
