Kent Carlsen

Kent Carlsen is an experienced Application Specialist at GWS Tool Group since July 2021, overseeing operations in several states including UT, WY, CO, NV, AZ, and NM within the aerospace and defense, power generation, automotive, and medical sectors. Prior to this role, Kent worked at Sandvik Coromant from July 2015 to July 2021 as a Productivity Engineer focused on composite applications in the aerospace industry, and previously in metalworking outside sales. Kent also served as a Sales Engineer at New West Machine Tool from April 2012 to May 2013, and held multiple positions at Sandvik Coromant from August 2003 to May 2012, primarily in machining applications across aerospace, energy, and medical industries. Earlier experience includes roles as a Programmer at DePuy Mitek and a Machinist at Beretta USA. Kent holds educational credentials from Utah State University and Catonsville Community College.
