Mark H. Chichester

Mark H. Chichester is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in leadership roles across various institutions. Currently serving as Principal and Executive Director at Aegis Group/Aegis Institute since September 2021, Mark also holds positions as Vice Chair of the George Washington University Board of Trustees since July 2022 and as a Board Member at The George Washington University since July 2013. Prior to these roles, Mark was Vice Chairman and President at Atlas Research from October 2008 to October 2021, and Vice President/Executive Director at The Aspen Institute from April 2006 to October 2008. Mark's career in public policy began as Director at the Institute for International Public Policy at UNCF, where service extended from October 1996 to March 2006. Mark holds a Doctor of Law (JD) from The George Washington University Law School and a BBA in Information Systems from The George Washington University.
