Peng WEI

Peng Wei is an Associate Professor of Aerospace Engineering and Robotics at George Washington University, where they focus on autonomy and decision support systems in complex, dynamic environments. Their research integrates control, optimization, machine learning, and artificial intelligence, with applications in Air Traffic Control, airline operations, and autonomous drone racing. Wei has previously served as an Assistant Professor at both Iowa State University and George Washington University, and held a position as Operations Research Analyst at American Airlines. They also chaired the AIAA Air Transportation Systems Technical Committee, fostering research collaborations within the aerospace community. Wei earned a Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering from Purdue University and has held a visiting professor position at UC Berkeley.
