Guillermo Skrilec

Guillermo Skrilec has extensive experience in software quality assurance and software development. Guillermo began their career in 2009 as a SQA Manager at GeneXus Consulting, where they were responsible for defining, coordinating, and planning projects. Guillermo also worked to continuously improve and update processes, as well as train software testing team members. In addition, they defined the general guidelines, methodologies, standards, and metrics applied to QA consulting projects. Guillermo also held the role of VP of US Operations, Test Leader, and Consultant at GeneXus Consulting. In 2018, they became the Chief Executive Officer at QAlified.

Guillermo Skrilec has a comprehensive education history. Guillermo attended Deutsche Schule Montevideo from 1994 to 2005, followed by Universidad ORT Uruguay where they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Systems Engineering from 2006 to 2011. Guillermo then completed a Master in Management of Technology Companies from 2013 to 2015, and a Master of Business Administration - MBA from 2017 to 2019. In addition, they have obtained numerous certifications from various institutions, including CMAP - Mobile App Testing Foundation Level from iSQI GmbH in 2017, ISTQB Certified Tester Advanced Level - Test Manager from ISTQB - International Software Testing Qualifications Board in 2016, Software Test Lead from Centro de Ensayos de Software in 2013, Professional Software Tester from Centro de Ensayos de Software in 2012, Quality Systems Manager and Quality Management Representative from Quality Austria in 2012, Software Tester from Centro de Ensayos de Software in 2012, ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level from ISTQB - International Software Testing Qualifications Board in 2010, GeneXus Senior Analyst from GeneXus Artech in 2009, and Certified ScrumMaster from Scrum Alliance in 2014.
