Amer Hammudi

Amer Hammudi has extensive experience in software engineering, currently serving as the Director of Software Engineering at Gynesonics since April 2012, where responsibilities include overseeing the complete software delivery process and ensuring compliance with rigorous regulations such as ISO, IEC/EN, MDR, and FDA. Prior to Gynesonics, Amer worked at ZELTIQ as a Staff Software Engineer, implementing an iPod app for remote messaging and enhancing the reliability of the cool sculpting unit. Other notable positions include Lead Software Engineer at Affymetrix, where system improvements were made to the Affymetrix molecular diagnostic system, and Principal Software Engineer and Architect at Hologic, developing key C# components for DICOM servers. Amer started a career as a Senior Software Engineer at ShadSoft and held project management roles at Novellus Systems, leading software development projects. Educational qualifications include a Graduate Certificate in Mining Massive Data Sets from Stanford University, an MBA in Technology Management from the University of Phoenix, and a B.Sc in Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of Toronto.
