Alan Leonard Lau

Alan Leonard Lau has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Alan Leonard started their career as the Chief Electrical Engineer at Philips Electronics Singapore Pte Ltd, where they led the development of audio/video systems. Alan Leonard then worked as the Assistant Electrical Manager at Nakamichi Research (S) Pte Ltd, and later as the Development Project Leader at Philips Electronics Singapore Pte Ltd, focusing on mainstream flat display development. Alan then joined Panasonic AVC Networks Singapore Pte Ltd as an Assistant Principal Engineer, specializing in electrical development.

In 2007, Alan took on the role of Project Manager at Continental Automotive Singapore Pte Ltd, where they managed technical projects in the automotive engineering field. Alan Leonard demonstrated strong leadership skills and oversaw cross-functional teams. Alan also worked as the R&D Manager at Alphino Pte Ltd, leading the development of products for harsh and hazardous environments in the Marine and Oil & Gas sectors.

From 2015 to 2019, Alan served as a Technical Project Manager at Sivantos Pte Ltd, responsible for managing medical projects and ensuring their successful execution. Alan Leonard was involved in budget planning, risk management, and project reporting.

In 2020, Alan joined Raffles Medical Group as a Healthcare Assistant, specifically at the Punggol Vaccination Centre. Alan Leonard assisted medical staff in non-clinical tasks, ensuring operational efficiency and adhering to COVID-19 measures. Alan Leonard later took on the role of Registration Assistant at the Marina Bay Cruise Centre, where they handled passenger registration duties.

Alan Leonard Lau attended Kingswood College from 1978 to 1988, earning a high school degree. Following this, they pursued higher education at Swinburne University of Technology from 1989 to 1994. At the university, they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering degree with a focus on Communication & Electronics. In addition to their formal education, they obtained a certification in Adaptive Project Leadership from LinkedIn in April 2020.
