Claudio Petrini

Claudio Petrini is a lecturer at the Department of Civil, Environmental and Geomatic Engineering at ETH Zürich since March 2024. Petrini has extensive experience in project and business development within the APAC region, currently serving as a Manager at Geobrugg since March 2022 and previously as a Project Manager for Asia Pacific and Africa. Prior experience includes a postdoctoral position at ETH Zürich focusing on fracture mechanics and rockslide failure potential, as well as a brief role as a Geologist at Gysi Leoni Mader AG. Petrini earned a PhD in Geophysics and Seismology from ETH Zürich in 2019, following a Master’s degree and Bachelor’s degree in Earth Sciences with a major in Geophysics, both from the same institution.
