Dr. Barun Rai

Dr. Barun Rai has extensive work experience in the field of clinical research and project management. Dr. Barun began their career in 2009 as a Clinical Research Coordinator at Max Neeman International. Dr. Barun then advanced to the role of Clinical Research Associate, where they ensured the compliance of assigned studies with SOPs, GCP, and local regulations.

In 2013, Dr. Rai became an Assistant Project Manager at Max Neeman International, taking on responsibilities such as project planning, preparation of study-specific procedures, and mentoring new team members. Dr. Barun also handled negotiations for site budgets and contracts and managed external vendors.

Dr. Rai was promoted to Project Manager in 2014, where they were responsible for line management of clinical operations personnel and the development of infrastructure supporting NDA studies. Dr. Barun guided and advised personnel on programs to support company objectives and ensured the financial and operational performance of clinical programs.

In 2015, Dr. Rai joined INC Research as a Manager of Regulatory Records, where they managed regulatory submissions and documents until October that year. Simultaneously, they started working at PanTheryx, Inc. as the Director of Scientific & Clinical Affairs, focusing on managing scientific and clinical affairs until July 2021.

Dr. Rai's most recent role is as a Clinical Trial Manager Lead at GyroGear since August 2021. Dr. Barun is currently the Clinical Project Manager, overseeing project management activities in the company.

Dr. Barun Rai's education history begins in 2000 when they enrolled at The University of Burdwan for their undergraduate studies in Medicine. Dr. Barun pursued their degree from 2000 to 2005. After completing their graduation, they furthered their education by attending the CRA School of Montreal in Canada in 2008, where they obtained a Certificate in Clinical Research. In the same year, they also studied at CREMA and earned an APGDCR (Advanced Post Graduate Diploma in Clinical Research). Recently, from 2017 to 2019, Dr. Barun Rai studied at the University of Lucknow and received their Post-Graduation in Public Health and Community Medicine.
