Amit Abir

Amit Abir currently serves as the Director of Engineering at GYTPOL since March 2025. Prior to this role, Amit held the position of VP R&D at Evermile from August 2022 to March 2025 and was the Head of Engineering at StuffThatWorks from August 2019 to August 2022. Amit's earlier experience includes serving as Software Engineer Director and Software Engineering Manager at Oracle between March 2016 and July 2019, as well as a Software Engineer at Ravello Systems from December 2011 to March 2016. Amit also served in the Israel Defense Forces in various software engineering roles, including Software Engineering Manager from November 2009 to May 2012 and Software Engineer from February 2007 to April 2009. Amit holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Physics and Computer Science from Tel Aviv University, which was completed from 2012 to 2015.
