Sofia Bitzika

Sofia Bitzika is an experienced medical professional currently serving as an Obstetrics and Gynecology Resident at GZO Spital Wetzikon since April 2022. Prior to this role, Sofia completed a residency in Internal Medicine at Papageorgiou General Hospital from February 2021 to January 2022 and worked with Doctors of the World Greece as a Physician Assistant and Volunteer from September 2018 to February 2021. Engagement in medical education included participation in the Scientific Society of Hellenic Medical Students and HelMSIC from 2015 to August 2020. As a medical student, Sofia also undertook a medical internship at Hospital San Francisco de Quito in July 2019, focusing on Cardiology. Currently pursuing a Master of Science in Human Reproduction at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Sofia holds a Doctor of Medicine degree from the same university and attended Deutsches Schule Thessaloniki for high school, along with an Erasmus semester at Universidad de Murcia.
