Tom Kauffman

Tom Kauffman possesses extensive experience in technology and product development, currently serving as the External Innovation Director at H.B. Fuller since May 2014. In this role, Tom focuses on identifying new technologies to meet the unmet needs of global business units and managing the company's long-range innovation projects. Prior experience includes leadership positions at Pecora Corporation, where Tom was the Director of Product Development, and at Rohm and Haas as Technical Manager/Senior Scientist, where innovative adhesive technologies were developed. Earlier roles include Director of Hot Melt Technology at H.B. Fuller, Technical Manager at Binney and Smith, and Sr. Project Supervisor at National Starch and Chemical. Academically, Tom holds an MBA from the University of Minnesota's Carlson School of Management and two master's degrees in Polymer Science and Engineering from Lehigh University.
