H.C. Starck
Alexander Zeugner is an accomplished professional in the fields of technology and innovation, currently serving as the Deputy Head of Division at H.C. Starck Tungsten Powders since April 2019, overseeing the R&D group in Vietnam. Zeugner has extensive experience in hydrometallurgy, focusing on recycling processes related to lithium-ion batteries and tungsten materials, and has provided technical support across production sites in Vietnam, China, and Canada. Previous positions include leadership roles in new technologies and operations management at the same company, as well as research assistantships at TU Dresden and the Max-Planck Institute. Zeugner holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry from Technische Universität Dresden, along with a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in the same field, and has completed management training with FernUniversität in Hagen.
