Mitchell Kapoor

Mitchell Kapoor has extensive experience in the biotechnology and life science industries. Mitchell is currently a Vice President and Senior Biotechnology Analyst at H.C. Wainwright & Co., LLC since November 2021. Prior to that, they worked as an Assistant Vice President in Biotechnology Equity Research at Barclays Investment Bank from March 2020 to August 2021. Mitchell also held roles at Jefferies and Leerink Partners as an Associate in Biotechnology and Life Science Tools & Diagnostics Equity Research respectively. Additionally, Mitchell had previous experience as an Associate and Associate Intern in Biotechnology Equity Research at H.C. Wainwright & Co., LLC.

Mitchell Kapoor has a diverse education background. Mitchell holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the Cornell Johnson Graduate School of Management. In addition, they have earned a Master of Science (MS) degree in Healthcare Policy & Research from the Weill Cornell Graduate School of Medical Sciences. Prior to their graduate studies, Mitchell obtained a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, with a focus on Finance, Economics, and Pre-Med.

In terms of certifications, Mitchell has obtained several financial industry certifications. These include the Series 87 certification from the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA), which was obtained in May 2017. Mitchell also holds the Series 86 certification, obtained in April 2017, the Series 63 certification, obtained in February 2017, and the Series 7 certification, obtained in January 2017.
