Oded Spindel Ph.D.

Oded Spindel, PhD, MBA has a diverse range of work experience. Oded currently holds the role of Senior Vice President at H.C. Wainwright & Co., LLC since June 2020. Oded previously served as Vice President at the same company from September 2015 to June 2020. Oded is also a Board Member at Psagot Investment House since August 2021, and at Louis S. Wolk JCC of Greater Rochester since July 2020. Prior to their current roles, they were an Investment Manager and Senior Analyst at Excell Partners, Inc. from September 2014 to August 2015 and January 2013 to September 2014 respectively. Oded also worked as an Analyst at the same company from October 2011 to January 2013.

Before transitioning into the finance industry, Oded Spindel had a background in research and academia. Oded was a Post-Doctoral Fellow and Co-chair at the University of Rochester Medical Center from January 2013 to May 2014 and September 2011 to January 2013 respectively. Oded also worked as a PhD Candidate in Cardiovascular Research Institute at the same institution from September 2008 to January 2013.

Additionally, Oded Spindel had entrepreneurial experience as a co-founder of a medical device venture from August 2008 to January 2010. Before that, they worked as a Research Assistant in Dr. Sarelius lab at the University of Rochester Medical Center from August 2007 to March 2008.

Oded'searly career involved serving in various roles in the Israel Defense Forces, including Chief Petty Officer in the Israeli Navy Submarine Unit from December 1998 to June 2003.

Oded Spindel, PhD, MBA has a comprehensive education history. Oded started their academic journey at Braude Academic College from 2004 to 2008, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Biotechnolgy Engineering. Following this, from 2008 to 2010, they continued their studies at the University of Rochester, obtaining a Master of Science (MS) degree in Pharmacology. Concurrently, they pursued their doctorate degree in Pharmacology at the University of Rochester, completing it in 2013. Subsequently, Oded Spindel further enhanced their academic credentials by pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at the University of Rochester - Simon Business School from 2012 to 2015.
