Mayerland Harris

Mayerland Harris has extensive experience in human resources and leadership roles, currently serving as the Head of Human Resources for Store Operations and Group Vice President of Talent at H-E-B since June 1991. Previous positions at H-E-B include Group Vice President of Human Resources, Vice President of Human Resources, and Director of Human Resources, among others. Mayerland also holds a board member position at United Way Women United and has contributed to Favor Delivery as an Executive Board Member. With a strong background in public speaking, Mayerland has participated in various professional engagements, including panels and keynote speeches focused on retail, human resources, and leadership challenges. Education includes pursuing a Doctor of Education in Learning and Organizational Change from Baylor University and an MBA from Texas A&M University, along with other training from Harvard Business School and Stanford University.
