Christian Rothbauer

Christian Rothbauer is a seasoned hospitality professional with extensive experience in hotel management. Currently serving as Gewerberechtl. Geschäftsführer at THR in Salzburg Hotelbetriebs- & Management GmbH since November 2024, and as General Manager at H-Hotels.com since April 2021, Christian has successfully overseen the opening of a luxurious 115-room hotel in the historic Palais Faber in Salzburg. Previously, Christian held various leadership roles at NH Hotel Group, including General Manager of NH Collection Amsterdam Doelen and NH Collection Amsterdam Flower Market, as well as Cluster General Manager for NH Collection Wien Zentrum & NH Wien City. Additional experience includes a key role as Director of F&B at Casino Vienna and positions at Intercontinental Vienna and Sofitel Munich Bayerpost. Christian received an Associate degree in Hotel Management from Tourism College MODUL and has further honed skills in operations, customer relations, and staff management throughout a career dating back to 2004.
