Rick Rosen

Co-President at H.I.G. Capital

Rick is Co-President of H.I.G. Capital with over twenty-five years of private equity and M&A experience. In his current position, along with Co-President Brian Schwartz, he helps run the day-to-day operations of the firm and sits on the investment committees for all H.I.G. funds. Since joining H.I.G. in 1998, he has been involved in all aspects of the investment process; and has held leadership positions in several of the firm's funds. Located in the Miami office, Rick currently serves on the Board of numerous H.I.G. Capital portfolio companies. He has worked with companies in a variety of industries, with a focus on healthcare, business services, specialty chemicals, and niche manufacturing.

Prior to joining H.I.G., Rick worked at General Electric Company and GE Capital. As part of their Corporate Mergers & Acquisitions teams, he coordinated a variety of strategic acquisitions in the financial services, plastics, medical systems, electronics, and aerospace industries. Before joining the M&A group, Rick was a member of the GE Corporate Finance Staff, where he helped design and implement improved business strategies and operating processes for GE Capital business units.

Rick received his undergraduate degree with honors from Stanford University and earned his M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
