Brittney Major has extensive work experience in the fashion industry, specializing in technical design. Brittney has held various managerial roles, including Director of Technical Design at H.I.S International since 2019, Technical Design Manager at ONE Jeanswear Group from 2018 to 2019, Technical Design Manager at Rockets of Awesome from 2016 to 2018, and Technical Design Manager at The Children's Place from 2015 to 2016. Brittney also worked as a Technical Designer at Ralph Lauren in 2012, as well as a Technical Designer at American Eagle Outfitters from 2011 to 2012. Earlier in their career, they gained experience as an Assistant Patternmaker at Nanette Lepore from 2009 to 2011 and as an Assistant Patternmaker at Zac Posen from 2008 to 2009.
Brittney Major obtained their Master of Fine Arts (MFA) degree in Fashion/Apparel Design Patternmaking from the Academy of Art University. Brittney attended the university from 2006 to 2009. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Production studies with a focus on Costume Design at Clemson University. Brittney studied at Clemson University from 2002 to 2006.
