Jaden Beard

Jaden Beard is an undergraduate Journalism major at Michigan State University, with a diverse range of experience in reporting and communications. Currently serving as a Reporting Intern at Michigan Information & Research Service Inc. since August 2024, Jaden previously worked as a Politics Reporter for The State News, where the focus was on localizing national political developments for a student audience. Additional roles include Communications Specialist for H-Net: Humanities & Social Sciences On-Line, where Jaden contributed to the H-Net Commons Blog, and various positions such as Regional Desk Editor, Podcast Host, and Entertainment and Student Life Reporter. Jaden has also worked as a Classroom Assistant and Ambassador for the Michigan Interscholastic Press Association and held multiple positions at Michigan State University and VIM Magazine.
