Jeff Gehlhoff has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Starting in 2004, they worked as a Research Assistant at UW-Milwaukee Structures Laboratory before moving on to an Engineering/Business Intern role at APS Concrete Products. In 2007, they joined CSD Structural Engineers as a Sr Associate Structural Engineer and Project Manager. During this time, they specialized in the design and construction of Steel Mills for owner-integrated fast track construction projects. In 2018, Jeff joined Tesla, where they held various Senior and Staff EPC leadership roles. Jeff played a key role in the strategies, planning, engineering, construction, and local organization building for Tesla's global factory scale-up. In 2022, they joined McKinsey & Company as an Expert in the Capex | Battery Accelerator Team, helping green businesses in sustainable energy industries accelerate the speed and cost efficiency of their capital expenditure programs. Jeff's most recent role is as the Head of Steel Mill Project at H2 Green Steel, starting in 2022. Additionally, they became a Board Advisor at GreenLIB in 2023.

Jeff Gehlhoff has a M.S. degree in Civil Engineering (Structural Concentration) from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, along with a B.S. degree in the same field of study from the same institution. Jeff also has a background in Civil Engineering from Bradley University.
