Maria Persson Gulda

Maria Persson Gulda is a seasoned professional in the fields of technology and sustainability, currently serving as a Board Member at WISE and as Chief Project Officer and Chief Technology Officer at H2 Green Steel, where a large-scale fossil-free steel plant is under development. With extensive experience at McKinsey & Company as a Partner, Maria focused on the metals, mining, and paper industries, facilitating improvements through innovation and automation. Maria obtained a Ph.D. in Applied Physics from Harvard University, where research centered on metallic structures and defects, and also held leadership roles at various organizations, including serving as the President of SWEA International's New England chapter and founding the Harvard Student Club of Sweden. Additionally, Maria has a background in professional golf, competing on the Sub-Tour to the Ladies European Tour and Q-School for the LPGA.
