Gregory R. Lui

Manager, Technology Development at H2nanO

Gregory R. Lui, PhD, is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in materials science and technology development. Currently serving as Manager of Technology Development at H2nanO since September 2020, Gregory leads strategic initiatives and oversees multi-team research from conception to commercialization, enhancing technology readiness levels. Previously, as Senior Materials Scientist at H2nanO, significant contributions included innovations in wastewater treatment technologies that improved product lifetime and reduced costs. Prior roles include Analytical Scientist at A123 Systems, where Gregory collaborated on Li-ion battery development, and research positions at Natural Resources Canada and Kingston Process Metallurgy, focusing on energy storage solutions and metallurgical processes. Gregory holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering, as well as a MASc and BASc, all from the University of Waterloo.
