Jochen Giese

Jochen Giese is a seasoned expert in technology development and innovation management, currently serving as Department Manager at Endress+Hauser Gruppe since March 2022, after their role as Senior Expert in the same field. Prior experience includes leading predevelopment and technology research at NDT Global, where Jochen defined a technology roadmap for ultrasonic pipeline inspection robots. At Baker Hughes, Jochen held the position of New Technology Introduction Manager, overseeing international multi-site teams and mentoring emerging talent. Previous roles include Staff Engineer at Qualcomm CDMA Technologies GmbH, focusing on mobile communication systems, and a PhD candidacy at Kungliga Tekniska högskolan, where research centered on MIMO mobile communication systems. Jochen holds a PhD in wireless communications from KTH Royal Institute of Technology and has pursued advanced studies at ETH Zürich and Grenoble INP - UGA, alongside earning a Dipl.-Ing. in communication systems from Karlsruhe Institute of Technology.
