David Epperson

David Epperson currently serves as Chief Information Security Officer at H2O.ai, overseeing cybersecurity and compliance strategies since February 2022. Previously, Epperson was the Chief Information Security Officer and CIO at the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency from October 2018 to February 2022. Epperson has extensive experience at the US Department of Homeland Security, holding multiple roles including CIO and Deputy CIO for various divisions from 2002 to October 2020. Additional notable positions include Senior Transition Advisor at The White House, Deputy CIO at NPPD, and Web Specialist at FEMA. Epperson began their career as Program Manager at Troy Systems and served as Aide-de-Camp to the Deputy Commanding General at USASOC HQ.
