Laura Payne began their professional career in 2008 as an intern at Northrop Grumman. Laura returned to the company for the summers of 2009 and 2010 before being hired on full time in May of 2011. During their time at Northrop Grumman, they held the roles of Subsystem Responsible Engineer, Functional Manager, and Subsystems Design Lead Engineer. In 2022, they transitioned to H2scan Corporation as a Sr. Mechanical Design Engineer.
Laura Payne attended Purdue University from 2007 to 2011, where they earned a B.S. in Aerospace/Aeronautical Engineering.

The Company provides the most accurate, tolerant, and affordable hydrogen leak detection and process gas monitoring solutions for industrial markets enabling accurate monitoring and control functions for a wide range of applications, including control systems, safety monitoring and alarm systems. H2scan also provides portable, handheld configurations for easy leak detection and monitoring.
