Yaşar Safkan

Yaşar Safkan is an accomplished academic and technology leader with extensive experience in both education and industry. Currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Computer Science Department at Özyeğin University and holding leadership roles at workflexcomtr and H3M.IO, Safkan has previously taught at Yeditepe University and Boğaziçi University, covering a wide range of subjects in physics and engineering. Yaşar's industry experience includes significant positions such as Executive Vice President of Technology at Dünya Varlık Yönetim and Chief Technology Officer at Pointr Ltd, in addition to consulting roles with notable clients. Safkan holds a Ph.D. in Physics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, along with dual bachelor's degrees in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and Physics from Boğaziçi University.
