Salmi Kari

Salmi Kari has been the Administrative Director of Safety and Responsibility at Haaga-Helia University since January 2010. Prior to their current position, they were the Director of Administration at Haaga Institute Polytechnic from September 2003 to December 2006. From October 2007 to December 2009, they served as the Principal at Markkinointi-instituutti. From October 1996 to September 2003, they were the Training Manager at Markkinointi-instituutti. Salmi has also been a member and treasurer of the Executive Committee at the European Association for Distance Learning from November 2007 to November 2009. Prior to their work in education, they were a lawyer at Suomen Perintäkeskus Oy from November 1992 to April 1996.

Salmi Kari graduated from the University of Helsinki with a Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree.

Salmi Kari reports to Teemu Kokko, President. They are on a team with Hälikkä Ari - Strategy Director, Corporate Planning, Laukia Jari - Director, Vocational Teacher Education, and Kauppinen Matti - Director, Regional Integration.
