Gerard Gomà

Gerard Gomà has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Gerard began their career as a Lecturer of Classical Physics for Engineering students at SOL Formación from 2006 to 2009. Gerard then worked as a Product Management Intern at Hilti Group in 2010, where they were involved in consumables strategy and supply strategy.

From 2010 to 2014, Gerard worked at Privalia, starting as a Supply Chain Project Manager and later becoming a Corporate Supply Chain Controller. In these roles, they were responsible for budgeting, reporting, and managing logistics operations. Gerard also served as the Head of Supply Chain Spain, overseeing planning, warehousing, and transport.

Gerard joined Inditex in 2014 as the Corporate e-commerce Operations Coordinator, working on logistic projects for various Inditex brands. Gerard then became the Head of e-commerce Operations at Massimo Dutti, managing outsourced fulfillment centers and delivering to multiple countries.

In 2018, Gerard joined Bird as the General Manager, and in 2020, they moved to RideMovi as the General Manager for Europe. At RideMovi, they led various business areas and achieved significant business growth, expanding the company's operations and launching new profitable business verticals.

Currently, Gerard holds the position of COO at HAAN, starting in 2023.

Gerard Gomà's education history is as follows:

From 2004 to 2010, Gerard attended the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, where they pursued a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering.

In 2022, Gerard enrolled at the IESE Business School to develop leadership competencies.

In 2008, Gerard attended Harvard University for a course in Strategic Management.

From 2009 to 2010, Gerard studied Management and Economics of Innovation at Chalmers University of Technology.

In 2015 and 2016, Gerard obtained a Postgraduate Degree in e-commerce from IEBS.

From 2013 to 2014, Gerard completed the Superior Program in Supply Chain from ICIL.

In 2010 and 2011, Gerard attended the IESE Business School for the IESE Young Talent Program.

In 2009 and 2010, Gerard participated in the UNITECH International Society program.

In terms of additional certifications, Gerard obtained a CELPE Brasil (nivel avançado) from the Ministério de Educação do Brasil in July 2012. In August 2011, they obtained a certification as an Open Waters Diver from SSI Scuba Schools International. Additionally, Gerard received a Certificate of Proficiency in English from the University of Cambridge in June 2009.
