Aamir Dar

Aamir Dar has over 20 years of experience in the banking industry. Aamir began their career in 1996 as the Senior Vice President & Head of Financial Institutions at Habib Metropolitan Bank in Karachi, Pakistan. In this role, they were responsible for strategic planning, policy formulation, and overseeing business execution, including managing global banking relationships.

In 2014, Aamir joined Habib American Bank as an Executive Vice President. Aamir'sresponsibilities included strategic planning to identify markets, marketing cash management and trade finance services, and formulating policies and procedures for correspondent banking. Aamir also ensured compliance with AML/KYC procedures. Currently, Aamir is still employed at Habib American Bank.

Aamir Dar completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Marketing from IBA, Karachi, from 2000 to 2002. Prior to that, they obtained their Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree in Business/Commerce, General from Government College of Commerce & Economics, Karachi, from 1986 to 1991.
