Chris Ratchford

ER Physician at Habersham Medical Center

Chris Ratchford is an experienced ER physician and Medical Director at Habersham Medical Center since July 2002. Prior to this role, Chris served as a Medical Officer in the South Carolina National Guard from May 1994 to July 2013 and worked as a Family Practice Physician at Mt Yonah Family Practice from August 2000 to December 2010. Chris has military experience as an Air Defense Artillery officer with the US Army from September 1989 to August 1992. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Medicine (MD) from the Medical University of South Carolina (1993-1997), a Family Practice Residency at Anderson Area Medical Center (1997-2000), and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Wofford College (1984-1989).
