Zulfiqar Ali

Zulfiqar Ali has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Zulfiqar started their career as an Auditor at Ebrahim and Company Chartered Accountants in 1993 and worked there until 1995. Zulfiqar then joined Allied Bank Limited as a Branch Manager and served in various roles until 2008. In 2008, they joined The Bank of Tokyo Mitsubishi UFJ as Head Customer Services and worked there until 2010. Zulfiqar later joined Standard Chartered Bank as a Branch Manager from 2010 to 2011. Currently, they are working as a Vice President at Habib Bank Zurich (Hong Kong) Limited since 2011.

Zulfiqar Ali completed their MBA in Banking and Finance from Preston Institute of Management Sciences from 2003 to 2005. Prior to that, they obtained their Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree from Karachi University from 1990 to 1992. In terms of additional certifications, Zulfiqar Ali obtained a Compliance and Finance certificate from The University of Hong Kong in April 2020. Before that, they acquired an Effective Negotiation certificate from the Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce (HKGCC) in March 2020. In 2019, Zulfiqar Ali obtained a Certificate of Leadership Training from Dale Carnegie Training and underwent Conflict Mode Instrument training programme from Thomas Kilmann in January 2019. Additionally, in August 2018, they received training in Effective Reports and Presentation from the Pakistan Institute of Management (PIM).
