Muhammad Nassir Salim

Nassir S. is a seasoned banking professional with extensive experience in leadership roles across major financial institutions. Currently serving as President & CEO of HBL - Habib Bank Limited since December 2017, Nassir also holds the position of Director at Central Depository Company of Pakistan Limited, effective January 2024. Previous roles include Chairman of the Board at HBL Currency Exchange and NiFT, and EVP - Head of Retail Operations at ADIB - Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank. With a significant tenure at Citi, spanning from 1994 to 2014, Nassir held various leadership positions, including Site President & Director for Treasury & Trade Solutions. Nassir began career at American Express, gaining foundational banking knowledge. Educational credentials include an MBA in Finance from the Institute of Business Administration, attained from 1982 to 1986.
