Israel Abraján Pérez has a diverse work experience in the field of finance and accounting. Israel started their career as a Senior Financial Auditor at PwC México in 2005 and worked there for five years. Israel then moved on to TV Azteca, where they served as an Internal Financial Audit Manager for two years. During this time, they conducted internal financial audits and assessed the effectiveness of internal controls.

After TV Azteca, Israel joined Deloitte Consulting México as a Finance Transformation and Reporting Manager. In this role, they provided financial services to national and multinational companies and worked on projects related to financial process improvement, policy and procedure design, accounting close and consolidation, and GAAP conversion.

In 2013, Israel joined EY as a Manager of Accounting Compliance and Reporting (ACR). Israel successfully led complex projects for large companies, focusing on financial reporting compliance. Israel'sresponsibilities included bookkeeping for multinational companies, monthly accounting close, balance sheet preparation, reconciliations, and data collection.

Israel's next role was at Uber, where they served as the LATAM Controller Financial and Reporting. In this position, they led corporate finance activities for 22 legal entities in 11 countries in LATAM. Israel was responsible for reporting, accounting, corporate taxes, payroll, statutory compliance, and internal controls. Israel also oversaw local accountants in consolidation, cost-plus pricing, intercompany reconciliations, audits, and subsidiary report preparation.

Currently, Israel is employed at Habitas as the Finance Director LATAM. Israel leads all corporate finance activities for the company's entities in LATAM, including reporting, accounting, corporate taxes, payroll, statutory compliance, policies, procedures, and internal controls. Israel is responsible for transaction supervision and recording in Oracle NETSUITE and ensures compliance with local GAAP-IFRS requirements.

Israel Abraján Pérez obtained their Bachelor's degree in Accounting from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México, where they studied Auditoría, Finanzas, Taxes, and Accounting from 2003 to 2008. In addition to their degree, Israel has also obtained an IFRS Certificate from the AICPA in July 2018.
