Lisa Udoff

VP of Compliance at Habitat America

Lisa Udoff is the Vice President of Compliance at Habitat America. In her role, she ensures that all applicable Habitat America communities are in strict compliance with all rules and regulations set forth by Habitat America, HUD, Tax Credit and other regulatory bodies. Lisa creates and enforces company compliance policies and procedures while reviewing and monitoring changes in regulatory and reporting provisions of government agencies. She disseminates necessary information to others within Habitat America and ensures up-to-date compliance on the part of all properties within her portfolio. In addition, Lisa monitors and reviews compliance for all lease-up activities, ensuring that the first year files are complete and accurate. She audits on-site resident files for compliance and trains staff members. Lisa oversees the compliance managers and works closely with the State and Federal agencies, Syndicators and property owners to prepare and submit accurate compliance reports and fulfill requests for documents.

Lisa joined Habitat America in 2006 and has over 25 years of industry experience. Her certifications include Assisted Housing Manager (AHM), Housing Credit Certified Professional (HCCP), Certified Credit Compliance Specialist (C9P), Certified Occupancy Specialist (COS), Management and Occupancy Review (MOR) and Certified Occupancy Specialist Advanced (COSA). Her favorite vacation destination is any island south of the U.S. in the winter time.
