Salary Range: $180,000-195,000/year DOE
Your Impact
The Vice President of Philanthropy (VPP) plays a critical and strategic leadership role in ensuring that Habitat for Humanity Greater San Francisco (HGSF) achieves its ambitious individual fundraising goals to support its mission. This role is responsible for developing and executing strategies that drive and secure major gifts, donor stewardship, and long-term donor engagement. The VPP oversees a team of three fundraising team members, ensuring a cohesive and results-driven approach to individual giving. In addition to managing their own portfolio of high-net-worth donors, the VPP provides strategic direction for donor cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship efforts. Reporting directly to the Chief Development Officer (CDO), the VPP collaborates closely with leadership and the Fund Development team to craft compelling donor engagement initiatives and ensure fundraising success. This role requires a visionary, data-driven, and relationship-focused leader who can inspire both donors and team members to maximize philanthropic impact.

Compensation for this role is competitive, DOE. This full-time position offers medical, dental and vision insurance, life insurance, long-term disability, employee assistance program (EAP), Flex Savings Account (FSA), 403b retirement account, commuter benefits, 20 paid vacation days, 3 front loaded sick days (accrue up to 72 hours per year), and 13 paid holidays.
