Habitat for Humanity of Broward
Habitat for Humanity of Broward, the local affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International, is a non-profit, non-denominational Christian housing ministry, dedicated to eradicating substandard housing from our community. Established in 1983, Habitat Broward has successfully built more than 300 homes, significantly impacting the lives of more than 1,200 children and adults in communities throughout the county. In Broward County’s current housing market many impoverished families spend most of the income on shelter. For countless families in our community, lack of access to safe, decent, affordable housing bars them from building the solid foundation necessary to meet their full potential in life. Habitat Broward creates partnerships between those in need and those who can help: Sponsors contribute dollars Volunteers contribute labor Homeowners contribute both - along with commitment and an indomitable will to succeed!
