Amy Allamong

Director Of Operations at Habitat for Humanity of Greater Charlottesville

Amy Allamong has a diverse work experience in the nonprofit and conservation sectors. From 2015 to the present, they have been a part of Habitat for Humanity of Greater Charlottesville, starting as a Volunteer Program Manager and progressing to Associate Director of Operations and currently Director of Operations. Prior to that, from 2014 to 2015, Amy worked as a Logistics Coordinator for the American Conservation Experience. In 2013, they served as a Trail Stewardship Coordinator and Outreach through AmeriCorps at Rutherford County, NC. Additionally, they gained experience as a Trail Apprentice at the Biannual PNTS Workshop for The Partnership for the National Trails System in 2014. Amy Allamong holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Crop and Soil Environmental Science from Virginia Tech, which they obtained from 2009 to 2011. Prior to that, they earned an Associate of Science (AS) degree in Biology, General from PVCC Workforce Services from 2008 to 2009. In 2006 to 2008, they completed an Associate's Degree in Environmental Science at Blue Ridge Community College. Amy has also obtained certifications in Mental Health First Aid (in 2016) and Wilderness First Aid, though specifics about the institutions and timing are not provided.
