In addition to their formal education, Trina has obtained several certifications including SHRM-SCP from the Society of Human Resource Management in 2015, Senior Professional Human Resources from the HR Certification Institute - HRCI in 2010, and Master Trainer from Development Dimensions International in 2007. Trina is also a qualified administrator for Myers-Briggs, having obtained the qualification from Skill One in 2010. Trina's education and certifications span several decades, demonstrating their commitment to ongoing professional development in the field of human resources.

Since 1983, Habitat for Humanity of Greater Memphis has been working to realize that vision in Memphis and Shelby County. Habitat for Humanity of Greater Memphis partners with people in our community to help them build or improve places they can call home through new home construction, rehabilitation projects, and Aging in place accessibility and mobility modifications for seniors. Memphis Habitat has helped more than 480 first-time homebuyers access affordable mortgages and completed rehabilitation and home modification projects in partnership with more than 350 homeowners, helping them achieve the strength, stability and independence they need to build a better life for themselves and their families. In 2016, Memphis Habitat served as the host for Habitat for Humanity International’s Jimmy & Rosalynn Carter Work Project.
