Anitra Austin

Housing & Family Services Manager at Habitat for Humanity of Michigan

Anitra comes to us with years of experience working for the Michigan Certification Board for Addiction Professionals where she supported the substance abuse and prevention networks in the state of Michigan. Anitra has an Associate’s Degree from Lansing Community College, a certification in Human Resource Management and a Bachelor’s of Business Administration from Ferris State University.

Anitra is also a Habitat Homeowner of more than 16 years and takes great pride and joy in her home. In addition to being a proud mother of three young adult children and wife to a wonderful husband, Anitra is also an active member of her local church where she serves on several auxiliaries. Being the eldest of five children, she loves spending quality time with her family and close friends. Anitra and her husband enjoys traveling and plans to do so as often as possible.

Anitra feels a sense of coming “full-circle” with regard to being a Habitat Homeowner and being a part of the very organization that she feels has contributed to the continued success of her.
