Kathleen English

Kathleen English is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in housing counseling and education. Currently serving as a Housing and Financial Counselor at Habitat for Humanity of Michigan since May 2021, Kathleen provides support to clients in achieving their housing, financial, and personal goals. Prior roles include Homeowner Services Manager at Habitat for Humanity Grand Traverse Region, where Kathleen guided families towards affordable homeownership, and Elementary Spanish Teacher at TCAPS, providing language instruction to over 500 students. Kathleen's background also features roles in volunteer coordination and educational programs with various Habitat for Humanity chapters and teaching positions in migrant education and in Spain as a Language and Cultural Ambassador. Kathleen holds a B.A. in Elementary Education and Hispanic Studies from Boston College.
