Spencer Disher

Spencer Disher is an accomplished financial consultant and board member with extensive experience in investment management and mentorship. Currently, Spencer serves on the Board of Directors for NC IDEA, is an Adjunct Professor at Johnson & Wales University, and mentors for Innovate Charlotte. Chairing the Board at Habitat for Humanity of the Charlotte Region and being an Executive Board Member for Charlotte Angel Fund, Spencer focuses on supporting early and mid-stage enterprises. Previously, Spencer held significant positions at Natixis, Deutsche Bank, Citicorp, and ExxonMobil, contributing to various successful financial initiatives and projects. Spencer holds an MBA from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management and a Bachelor of Science in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Read more about us on our website: http://www.habitatcltregion.org Five Fast Facts About Habitat Charlotte Region: 1) Habitat Charlotte Region was established in 1983 by seven local churches that we refer to as the Jeremiah Seven. 2) We have served more than 4,000 families since 1983 through our new home construction, critical home repair, and financial literacy programs. 3) Habitat homeowners purchase their homes with a low-interest monthly mortgage, participate in financial literacy classes, and complete volunteer hours constructing their own homes. 4) Habitat Charlotte Region built the first Habitat home constructed by an all-female crew in 1991, which grew into a nationwide initiative to bring women together to build homes, communities, and hope, now known as Women Build. 5) Habitat Charlotte Region has six ReStores throughout the Charlotte Region that help fund our mission through the resale of donated furniture, cabinetry, building materials, and more.
